This article explain how to change SwyxWare's calling party number suppression on mismatching lines.

IMPORTANT: This article contains information about modifying the registry. Before you modify the registry, make sure to back it up and make sure that you understand how to restore the registry if a problem occurs.

SwyxWare prefers ISDN lines for outgoing calls where the calling party number matches the line configuration. Example: A SwyxWare installation is connected to PSTN via two basic rate lines with the following number assignments:

  • Line1: 4711, 4712, 4713
  • Line2: 1234, 1235, 1236

If a SwyxWare user who has 4711 assigned, dials an external number, SwyxWare selects line 1, because the calling party number matches the line configuration. If all channels on line 1 are occupied, SwyxWare uses Line2 and automatically suppresses the calling party number, because 4711 cannot be signaled on the line and the call maybe rejected by the PSTN provider.

If the above lines are pooled, then any number can be used on any line. Use the following registry key to configure SwyxServer to signal the number in that case:

Location: HKLM\Software\Swyx\IpPbxSrv\CurrentVersion\Options
Name: LineMismatchSuppressNumber
Value: 0
